Privacy Policy

What we collect. Your email address, and a password handled entirely by our authentication provider (Supabase) -- we never see or store it in plain text. We also store the simulated trading data you create in the app: portfolios, orders, watchlist entries, and similar. None of it represents real money, real securities, or a real brokerage account.

The waiting list. While registration is by invitation, you can leave your email address to be told when it opens. That is the only thing we do with it: one message, when registration opens. It is not an account, it is stored apart from the accounts, and it is not used for anything else -- no newsletter, no marketing, and never passed to anyone. We delete the list once we have written to everyone on it, and you can ask us to take your address off it before then by writing to hello@dragontradingsim.com.

Why we collect it. To create and run your account, process the simulated orders you place, and send you account-related emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset). We do not use your data for advertising, do not build a profile of you beyond what the app itself needs to work, and do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Who else sees it. Supabase stores your account and trading data on our behalf, as our database and authentication provider. Vercel hosts the application itself. Financial Modeling Prep supplies the market prices and charts you see, but is called as a plain data source -- it never receives your email, your trading activity, or any other personal information about you. Account emails are sent from our own mailbox, not a third-party marketing platform.

Cookies. This application uses one cookie, set by Supabase, to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies of any kind.

How long we keep it. For as long as your account stays open. Closing your account (from the Account panel, or by writing to us) starts a request to delete your data, which we then process -- it is not an instant automated erasure today. A waiting-list address is not an account and has its own answer, above.

Your rights. Under EU/GDPR law, you can ask to see, correct, export, or delete your data, or ask us anything about how it is used, by writing to hello@dragontradingsim.com.

Minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use this application -- same rule as the Terms of Service.

Changes to this policy. This policy may be updated at any time. Continuing to use the application after a change means you accept the updated policy.
